Fat free, chemical free, calorie free sweeteners i prefer!

These white sugar and artificial sweeteners are a healthy alternative to use in desserts, coffee, or tea. Although I still use them sparingly, and, or once in a great while.

SWEETLEAF is the best tasting Non-GMO, stevia sweetener I have found so far. It lis a prebiotic so it helps with the digestive system. Luv this stuff!!!…And, it’s Ideal for people with diabetes or for those looking to manage their weight. This can easily be found at Costco, Whole foods, Health food stores, and online.

Be aware, not all of the Stevia brands out there are the same! According to an article at draxe.com, “stevia-side-effects, most raw and less processed stevia products contain both sweeteners, whereas most highly processed forms of stevia, like Truvia, only contain the rebaudioside, the sweetest part of the stevia leaf. Rebiana, or rebaudioside A, is generally recognized as safe by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and is used as an artificial sweetener in foods and beverages. (2) This is not a form of stevia I recommend.

Another great tasting healthy alternative is Monk Fruit. Try Swanson Premium PureLo Lo Han Sweetener (Monk Fruit). It has 0 Calories, 0 Fat.

Like artificial sweeteners, the natural, healthier sweeteners can be an acquired taste, and usually tastes better in cooked or backed goods as opposed to say coffee, and or tea.
